Actual playable prototype!
Hooray! After all these years here's something you can actually play - I've made a javascript playtester which you could have tried by clicking HERE. Before you do though, remember: Right-click to flip cards. Without this knowledge you will die young!

Eh? What?
Gosh, It's been a while! Hey, ho, things happen, blah blah blah. I hadn't forgotten this game, I've just been pondering - there's no point building a bells and whistles game if it has no gameplay, so I've whittled it down to a javascript playtester;
I like it so far - it's bringing up all sorts of interesting possibilities in a game where new things can be easily tried out. I'm planning to put a playable version up very soon.
Watch this space!
Bonus: No java permissions griefs!

Welcome to Heroes Keep!
Heroes Keep has emerged from the long-running Stickmen Wars 2 project which, fun though it was, got a bit too complex! You can read all about that game on this blog.
So what is Heroes Keep? It's a real-time multi-player role playing game (RTMRPG?) with a twist - it's also a card game. Yes, I know, it does sound odd but I think it plays out pretty well!
Here's an early game-play video to give you some idea of the mechanic;
